• 1986 - 1992: study at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of the Charles University in Prague, graduated 1992 - thesis "The Heat Capacity of Compounds with the CeCu₂-structure"
• 1992 - 1997: PhD study at the Charles University Prague; in 1997 - PhD thesis "Magnetism in RCuAl and RNiAl compounds", Dr. degree in Solid State Physics
• since 1.10. 1997: assistant at the Charles University in Prague

1992/93 - 6 month at TU Wien ( Institute for Experimental physics)

1994/95 - 12 month in Centre d'É tudes Nucléaires de Grenoble

1997 - 2 month in Institute for Transuranium Elements Karlsruhe

since 1990 - member of the Union of Czechoslovak Physicists and Mathematicians
