- 1986 - 1992: study at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of the Charles University in Prague, graduated 1992 - thesis "The Heat Capacity of Compounds with the CeCu2-structure"
- 1992 - 1997: PhD study at the Charles University Prague; in 1997 - PhD thesis "Magnetism in RCuAl and RNiAl compounds", Dr. degree in Solid State Physics
- since 1.10. 1997: assistant at the Charles University in Prague
