Meeting location
The meeting is held within the compounds of the castle "Nový zámek" in Nové Hrady.
Deadline for applications and abstracts
Applications and abstracts have to be submitted by Thursday, February 15th 2007.
Abstracts will be published in English in the journal of the Czech and Slovak Crystallographic Association "Materials Structure" and will be available during the registration.
Submission of an abstract is a condition for both oral and poster
presentation at the "Discussions". The abstract should be delivered as
a MS Word file, one to two pages of A4/letter format, font Times Roman
size 12pt, it may include b&w figures.
Instead of an abstract, you can submit a full paper or short structured contribution to the "Materials Structure" journal.
Abstracts cannot be referenced in the database of scientific literature, RIV, which is used for evaluation of scientific work in the Czech Republic. In contrast, references to extended, structured contributions containing original results SHOULD be given to the RIV database.
Lectures will be given in English.
Poster dimensions are 90x120 cm.

Registration
The registration fee (if paid prior to March 22th 2007) totals to CZK 1620.00 for non-student participants and CZK 1020.00 for students.
This fee covers registration, one issue of the "Materials Structure"
journal with abstracts, food (banquet on Thursday, full pension on
Friday, breakfast and lunch on Saturday), and accommodation.
Non-students: registration CZK 500.00, accomodation CZK 700.00, food CZK 420.00
Students: registration CZK 0.00, accomodation CZK 600.00, food CZK 420.00
Payment can be cancelled until March 22th 2007 with cancellation fee of CZK 300. After this date the fee refund is not possible.

Cash payment at the registration booth is possible with an extra fee of CZK 300.
Accommodation
Single and double bed rooms are available at the Castle. Accommodation in the Servit monastery will be preferentially offered to student participants.In case of insufficient capacity, accommodation in local hotels and bed&breakfests may be offered.
Boarding
Breakfasts, lunches and dinners are served in the Servit monastery, approximately 200 m from the Castle main building.
Transportation information
By car, bus or train to České Budějovice. Then it is possible to continue with car, bus or shuttle (please, ask Iva Kuta-Smatanova). The distance from the castle is about 150 m. Please do not get off at the station "V údolí".
Train connection is possible, however the distance from the railway station to Nové Hrady is approximately 5 kilometers.
