Registration

Registration for participants of tutorials will start at about 9 a.m. on Monday, June 3 (3rd floor, entrance 5 of the congress centre). They also will be registered for ECRS-11. Other people can come to register for the conference later afternoon, if the like. Otherwise, the registration will start on Tuesday, June 4 after 8 a.m. (3rd floor, entrance 5 of the congress centre).

Online participants

Online participants will be receiving Zoom links a day before the session. The links will not be sent to regular participants. However, they will also be able to see available recordings some time after the conference.
Please, identify yourself with your first name and family name in the Zoom session, otherwise you may be kicked off. You can put your questions to lectures in chat window for everyone. In case of technical problems you seem to have, please, write in Chat to the current administrator. Questions to both lectures and posters can be placed in Conftool agenda in corresponding Discussion window. PDFs of several posters are already available in Conference Agenda. Parallel session should be run in Breakout rooms 1 and 2.

Lectures

Speakers of ECRS-11 are asked to upload their presentations in their profiles in the Conftool system (Your submission/Final Upload/ Second file) in pdf, ppt, pptx. If the file is too big (over 210 Mb), please, send us this via some public storage server.
Please, ignore Conftool warnings on missing uploads, not all three files are obligatory. If you want to let your presentation (ppt, pptx, mp4, wide screens possible) available for all registered participants, please, upload it also as the third file.

Please, upload the file before the conference but certainly before the last break before your session, better a day before your session. The file with your presentation is not public, it will only be available to the administrators in Conftool. All speakers are asked to respect the time planned for their talk and reserve time for questions.

All presentations will be run from our computers. Your own laptops can be used only in absolutely inevitable cases. The main reason is that all the sessions except tutorials are available online via Zoom and we record them.
Recordings should be available some time after the conference for all registered participants (unless refused by the speaker).

Speakers can control their presentations by mouse (17inch monitor will be available) and/or keyboard, or a virtual Logitech pointer with gyroscope. Wireless hand microphone and head microphone (preferred) will be available and must be used. The speakers should wait for our signal to start the presentation (because of Zoom session).

There will be a separate room available for possible testing presentations (speaker's ready room) and pointers. This can also be used for uploading presentation but online upload is preferred. The upload directly in the corresponding room is not completely forbidden but should be avoided.

Tutorials

This is not required for the speakers of tutorials. They can also use their laptops, if they prefer. No uploading of presentation is possible for that. Our computers will be available too.

Session chairs

Chairs of the session should work as usual. They should check the time quite strictly. The speakers should leave a few minutes (~ 5 min) for discussion. All people must use microphones. Control of presentations and Zoom sessions  will be done by us. Questions from online are only possible via chat. Sounding is arranged by technician from the Congress Centre. Any speaker should wait for a signal from us to start the presentation.

Posters

Presenters of posters can upload their presentations (usually as PDF but other formats are allowed) in their profiles in the Conftool  system (Your submission/Final Upload/ Third file). This can be done any time but before the conference. This file will be available for all registered participants including online participants via the Conftool Conference agenda. Therefore, the upload is not obligatory.
We will not print the posters here but there are public services available if necessary.

Format of real posters is A0, portrait orientation. Panel with carpet cover.
Poster session is scheduled on Wednesday afternoon but posters should be displayed for the whole conference.

 

 

 

 

Conference agenda, program

Updated program can always be accessible in Conference agenda of the Conftool system. If you click on the session, its whole content can be seen. Display of abstracts there can be switched on/off by the top left button. Next button switches on/off the uploads. These are the abstracts of the contributions and possibly posters, if the authors upload them.

Discussion

In Conference agenda (Conftool system), each session and also contribution has a button Start discussion where any of the registered partipants can put questions, before, during and also after the conference. So, please, check it sometime at your contribution in Agenda.

Accompanying persons

Tickets for boat trip with dinner and for excursion to Kutna Hora (Thursday, June 6, before dinner) can be bought for accompanying persons (their names must be given).

 

Entrance

The conference is organized in the Prague Congress Centre, on the third floor. A few minutes walk from the metro station Vysehrad.

On Monday, June 3 and Tuesday, June 4, the ECRS-11 participants must use entrance no. 5.
From Wednesday, June 5, we must use entrance no 1 (closer to Metro station) because there are parallel events in the Prague Congress Centre !!!

Trip to Kutna Hora

On Thursday, June 6.
Finally, our colleague take the people there by train. It is quite simple. He can accompany all for the whole day but it can be arranged according to agreement. Thanks to that arrangement, free places are still available.'

Current weather forecast for the conference week is not bad. Hopefully, it will be true.
After weekend heavy rains, there should be sunny or cloudy, not much rain. Perhaps on Monday and partly on Tuesday local showers, even heavy showers are possible. Temperatures about 19-23 C during day and 9-12 C in nights.
