Grant Workshop

The International Centre for Diffraction Data (ICDD)
presents a Grant Workshop for powder diffractionists
in Prague, Czech Republic at the Police Museum

Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University
Purpose of Workshop:
To acquaint attendees with the structure and procedures of the
ICDD and to inform participants of the requirements for
obtaining an ICDD grant for production of powder patterns for
inclusion in the Powder Diffraction File.
Support :
Participation in the Workshop will be financially subsidized by ICDD as
follows: ICDD will pay for two nights lodging (Sunday and Monday) and will
provide a maximum travel allowance of US$350.
Meals:
Group lunches will be provided on Monday and Tuesday.
A group dinner will be provided on Monday night.
Attendance at the workshop is limited.
Applications will be evaluated based on applicants’
research interests as they relate to the needs of the Powder Diffraction File.
Please submit a brief description of instrumentation available,
proposed class of materials to be investigated, and a summary of qualifications.
Applications must be received by ICDD no later than
15 October 1996.
