There are plenty interesting examples of magnetic
structures studied by small-angle neutron scattering (SANS). Here we would like
to present several successful topics of the SANS usage. For example, the very
first experimental observation of magnetic flux line lattices (FLL) - magnetic
vortexes in type II superconductors - have been done using SANS. General
approach as well as practical details of FLL measurements will be demonstrated.
Other example is ferrofluids based on magnetic
nanoparticles. SANS can be used for not just for structural characterizations
but also for studying of their dynamics using stroboscopic and TISANE options.
