Instrumental exhibiton - powder diffractometer XRD-7 with a new attachment for stress measurement, presentation of a new MS-Windows software for diffractometer control and X-ray powder diffraction analysis.

Posters

List of numbered posters will be included in the conference programme distributed at the registration.

Poster tables are of dimensions 1.4 m (width) x 1 m (height). They are made from relatively soft material so, that pins can be used for fixing of the posters.

Practical Information, Registration

Participants will be accommodated in the centre of winter sports and tourism Jasná which is close to Liptovsky Mikulas or in a student hostel in the town, according to their order in the registration form.

The registration desk will be opened on August 21 from 8.00 a.m. in the Military Academy. All participants arriving on Monday morning should go first to the registration there.

The participants who will come on Sunday, August 20, or earlier should go directly to the hotels - hotel LIPTOV in Jasna (category A,B,C), by bus from the railway station (see Transportation below) or to the student hostel - studentsky internat SOU polnohospodarske in Liptovsky Mikulas (category D) by bus no. 5 to the bus stop Nemocnica (Hospital).

Breakfasts will be served in hotels and/or the hostel, lunches will be in the Military Academy and dinners for three evenings are included in the evening programme in Jasná.

Swimming pool and sauna in the campus of the Military Academy can be visited every day during the conference.

Transportation

Poprad Airport

is a small airport close to Liptovsky Mikulas. There are only flights between Prague (Czech Republic) and Poprad.

Prague 11.23 > Poprad 12.35 (only on Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Poprad 08.35 > Prague 09.55 (only on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday)
