The core facilities of the Centre of Molecular Structure (CMS) offer a wide range of methods of structural biology. They are located in BIOCEV, as part of the Institute of Biotechnology, AS CR. CMS consists of facilities devoted to crystallization of macromolecules, X-ray diffraction and scattering, biophysical characterization and structural mass spectrometry. The services are provided via the Czech Infrastructure for Integrative Structural Biology (CIISB) and the European infrastructure for structural biology Instruct-ERIC. The latest improvements of our instruments portfolio are the NT8 crystallization dropsetter (Formulatrix) and the upgrades of the diffractometer D8 Venture including new detector, automated robotic goniometer head and the HC-lab device for controlled dehumidification of crystals (Arinax).

CIISB research infrastructure projects LM2015043, LM2018127, and CZ.02.1.01/0.0/0.0/16_013/0001776 funded by MEYS CR are gratefully acknowledged for the financial support of the measurements at the CMS.
