Altwyk is a stand-alone program which aims at producing the general position and Wyckoff positions for any Hermann-Mauguin space group symbol listed in International Tables for Crystallography, Vol. A (1983). |
CGI interface to program GID_sl. This program simulates dynamical x-ray diffraction from strained crystals, multilayers, and superlattices. Originally it was developed for simulating grazing incidence x-ray diffraction. Later on, GID_sl was extended to extremely asymmetric geometries and usual Bragg-case. At present this program is applicable to any coplanar and non-coplanar Bragg-case geometry with diffraction scans round arbitrary axes. A CGI interface to the program TER_sl simulating x-ray specular reflection from multilayers taking into account the interface roughness or transition layers. A CGI interface to the program TRDS_sl simulating non-specular x-ray scattering from multilayers with interface roughness. |

Crystallography This page allows the user to choose from among the 32 crystallographic point groups, enter the values of the relevant elastic constants, and view the resulting Young's Modulus representation surface. |
Lattice viewer Java progream allows a user to view and rotate a structure of atoms. A simple data file contains the xyz positions of the atoms, the relative atom sizes, the colours to be used for each atom, the connectivity of the atoms, and the corners of a unit cell box (is desired). |

XRay View The software uses interactive computer graphics to introduce basic concepts of X-ray diffraction by crystals, including the reciprocal lattice, the Ewald sphere construction, Laue cones, the wavelength dependence of the reciprocal lattice, primitive and centered lattices and systematic extinctions, rotation photography, Laue photography, space group determination and Laue group symmetry, and the alignment of crystals by examination of reciprocal space. |
