Olšanka in Prague

The neighbourhood of hotel Olšanka is not very interesting except one close place. This is Jiřího z Poběbrad Square with a nice modern church and close Prague TV tower.
It is really worth visiting. This is just about 10 walk from the hotel and one can continue frome there to downtown or Prague Castle by Metro line A.

There are two ways to get to downtown with indicated famous places

By tram directly from the hotel to Wenceslas Square (trams 5, 9) not more than 10 minutes (Walk there is about 30 minutes)

Walk about 10 minutes either to Metro station Flora - line A (also possible to take tram there) or Jiriho z Podebrad and take metro line.

For metro, trains and buses tickets can be purchased at several places (machines, shops with newspapers etc.). In this year also in many trams inside by credit card. It is also possible to send SMS to specified number. Reduced short time ticket (30 min) should be sufficient.
