Hotels and connection to the conference venue

For Aperiodic 2015, we have reserved some rooms in one hotel in the conference venue and a student dormitory, 
both with walking distance of the conference venue.

Hotel Adalbert

This small hotel is located right in the conference venue, however, the number of rooms is VERY limited. They will be reserved for participants on the first coming principle. Please, do not hesitate.

Dormitory Kajetanka

The dormitory is located within the walking distance form the venue. This is about 1 km, partly in a park (about 20 min walk).
It is possible to go by bus one station towards the conference venue but then 10 min walk is still necessary.

For all rooms, the following arrangement is valid:

Unit - two rooms share shower, toilet and refrigerator. In each unit, one of the room is a single room, the second one is a double room. 
We plan to use each of them as a single room unless participants require to share the double room. Please, specify in the order.

Connection to the conference venue  

The conference venue is located in the west part of Prague. It can easily be reached by car from the airport (15 min.) or other parts of Prague. There is one small hotel in the conference venue (see above) and only a few other small hotels are located within the walking distance.

Otherwise, trams or buses must be used.

Tram

The nearest station (Brevnovsky klaster) is for trams no. 22, 25 which is about 6 min. walk from the conference venue.
Travel from the downtown takes about 30 minutes. You can either use just a single tram - 22 (route map) or combine A line of metro with a tram, either 22 or 25 (route map)

Buses

For buses 184, 180 (route map) the station is about 10 min. walk from the conference venue. They start from metro line A (Hradcanska or Dejvicka).

Theferore, convenient hotels should not be located too far from these metro, tram or bus lines, if you do not want to change more lines.
